Skill Of The Week!
Each week, would you like to see a random skill from each profession "buffed up"? This would be only for the duration of the week and would change back when the next SOTW kicks in.
Any changes wouldn't harm the game because it's only temporary and such a short duration.
What a great thing to look forward to each week!

that would be cool
I want to see SF buffed so that its duration is 60 secs. >< this way i can pwn in pvp. jk
This would be interesting but I am sure they would want to add nerfs as well as buffs like the did in the last skill weekends.

We already have imba skills, I don't want incredibly imba skills even if it is just for a week.

Which skills would those be?
Think of it this way. If ArenaNets idea of breathing new life into GW is to change skills PERMANENTLY and upset people in the process, would it not be better to temporarily change skills for the better?
While i respect your answer, i do think you need to think a little more three-dimensionally.

What about buffing the useless skills like [skill]"the power is yours!"[/skill] to make them more useful first?

Because it's an elite and elites aren't supposed to be as rubbish as that one...

I mean, why would you want an elite like that to get play?

How about a "special rules" 4vs4 RA + TA arenas where the rules for the arenas change every week? One week, all elites get a +5 attribute bonus when used, the next week, no elites at all, the next week, core classes only, the next week, all healing is at 50% effectiveness, next week everyone has -5 degen (always), and so on.

No, Anet just needs to have more frequent skill updates. Waiting 2 months for an update is a bit sad. Everyone knows what skills are being abused. A weekly or every other week skill balance would be nice. It doesnt have to be a massive update. Just fixing a couple obviously broken skills would be nice.

Because then this could work? Especially if they just removed the -10 energy degen altogether and made it +7 energy to the whole party. All elites should be usable, the fact that it isnt recieving any play atm clearly shows it needs updating.

Well, I already tried [skill]"Never Give Up!"[/skill] Instead of the elite and its already far better then it is with the elite version, It costs 5 energy less and provides more energy.
So this skill does need a fix to make it better then the non elite version.

I think it's a good idea, if it's once in a while, and if it buffs temporarily skills that are not used often. This is a way to promote people trying new skills and skills combos, which breeds new life into often-forgotten skills.
Make sure you buff 2-3 skills per profession on those weekends, no changes to PvP of course.

Infinite energy on monks without a drawback is the worst thing that can happen to Guild Wars. It's been around in the past, and it's never ever been part of a non-boring metagame.
